PVP mining

so i went for some toxic pvp mining today - nothing out of the ordinary, a bit here, a bit there.. that is until i was jumped ..
shaolingdoggy saw me busy with a longu provider and two atroxes so he though , well, he shot me with some marber - next thing you know the longu takes care of me.
well, a quick heal and tp jump later, i'm back in the neighborhood
we start running in circles and shooting, he used a cannon a few times....
in the end i got him - well, no good story ends on a good note - he was not carrying anything...
my first pk in toxic pvp :)

I read this on EF some time ago:

i can clear up two major arguements here, and present a somewhat controversial statement... that will probably achieve at least a few neg reps w00t!

1) you dont lose peds not on your card. this HAS been tested. if you disagree, give me coords and a time
2) it IS the greatest damage. truant, if you want more specific info on this, pm me...
3) guess what guys... PVP3 draws on the full loot pool, not just a separate pvp3 pool. i know someone who was pkd while in pvp3.. they had NO LOOTABLE ITEMS. the pker looted 149 peds in loot. i had both guys on fl... that how i know that the former wasnt carrying anything (certainly nothing worth 149 peds) and the latter got all that in peds and pecs.
this, or a similar situation, is most likely how the 'peds not on card' myth came into being.
this opens up an entirely new area of exploitation lol... but i sincerely doubt that the amount of peds would exceed the amount of toxic shots youd need to buy

not realy , like i said before , in my experiance i get all time something , lower was 1.5 ped or so....
but i havent read any MA statement that say " you must all time get a loot"....
so i think maybe the no loot exist on avatar... who know ?
with MA you never know.

as i got to where his soul was hanging out, i had 3 merps i had to deal with - in-between sword slashes i tried to loot but i got he gray tool icon and i looted nothing
later i ran into him outside pvp and he told me he had nothing on him

Any thoughts on carrying a storage container with you into pvp? Putting any skins / ore you find into the storage container might keep them safe if you are killed and looted?

Keeping stuff in a box or dont close the loot window (save the loot in a open loot window) wont help you 8-[ according to the ppl who is supose to know (PK'ers)
So the only solution worth the name is a TP chip and TP in and out to store the loot in storage
