Time to focus on the next upcomming Event and the chance to win 250 peds tax free!! :-)

250 peds goes to the player with the highest Score
a small price to confort the runner up
100 peds will be given away to a random player that have participatedOn the May 1st we start the Player of the month Competition

Here is what you need to do, the rules are pretty simple:

Collect as many HOFs or Globals you can for a month (check the Soc Calender for more detailed info), post them with a picture on the forum.

The picture must show name, date & any Team info if you hunt in team
For each post you receive points
5 point for a Global 50-75 peds
10 points for a Global +75 peds
15 points for a HOF
25 points for an ATH




If you Score in Mining or Crafting you will get an extra 2 points.
Scores on small mobs (Snables, Exos, Combibos, chirpys) will give you an 5 Bonuspoints
If you Score items of any kind you receive 1 bonus point
If you Score in a Team each member of them Team must passé the limits for earning any points.
You may only post 2 to Hof\Globals a day
Your entrys should be posted in the in this thread
Entrys in other forums will not count !

For example a Global of 90 peds on a 2 player team is 0 points; a HOF of 226 for a 3 player team is 10 points each.

Also found a new mob type, the Exarocksaur. They are VERY slow moving, actually they tend to just stay in the same spot, and let you run around them. hehe

At least once a week I will try and post an update showing the total scores at that time. I hope this might help to keep track of weekly scores, and assist with any error checking. I offer some suggestions here to help understand the contest and rules. I wish you all good luck in the contest. :-)

Please remember to press the C key, so that a date is shown before taking your screenshot.
Screenshots should be for globals or HOFs that you gained using your own avatar, therefore using your own avatar's skills.
Only 2 screenshots can be entered for each day. A day is indicated by the date shown ingame when you press C.


To help you calculate your scores, here is a refresher on the rules:

- You have heard the trumpets and seen swirly lights - Congrats :)

- Press C to show the date, and take a screenshot. The picture must show your avatar name, the date, the actual global or HOF message in the purple text, and any Team info if you are in a team. (the loot window is optional to show, but it is always nice to see what items might be in there. Also if you HOF and miss getting the screenshot because you: are swamped by private messages, crash to desktop, or get excited and lose bladder control, no probs. :roll:

- If your global is 50-75 peds - add 5 points
OR if your global is over 75 peds - add 10 points
OR if you HOF - add 15 points
OR if you ATH - add 25 points

- If your score was in Mining or Crafting - add 2 points

- If you score hunting a small mob (Snables, Exos, Combibos, Chirpys) - add 5 points

- If you loot items - add 1 point. (sorry it is not 1 point per item)
(if you are crafting, "items" refers to unexpected items such as gemstones. It does not include blueprints, residues or the crafted item)

- Are you in a team? If so, then EACH member of the team must loot enough peds to meet the requirements. For example, if 3 people are in a team, and you get a 60 ped global, that equals only 20 peds each so sorry that does not count. But Gratz anyway :-)

- Only 2 globals/HOFs per day can enter the contest. If you are fortunate to global more than twice, you are welcome to share your other screenshots in the Public/HOF - Globals section. Only your 2 highest ped screenshots per day count toward the contest.

- Your contest entry screenshots should only be posted here, in this topic.

all clear, except one more question about the small mobs part, do only those 4 count as small mob, or does a Tantilion for instance go too? if so, where is the line for small mobs?

Good question. When Itto has time I am sure he can consider this. Perhaps the mobs listed might change a little each month.

I would also lobby to have Turps and Fugabarbas added to that list. There is also a small bird beside the Chirpy, but I cant think if its name right now.

Well I think the 4 mob types should remain for this month, perhaps next month could be the mobs you both mentioned. Who knows, maybe humans could be added to the bonus points mob type also. LOL Keeps some variety to feature a different couple of mobs each month perhaps?
