View Full Version : An Introduction to User Infractions

Something new we now have access to with the upgrade of the forum software is a User infraction system.
This basically means that the community can self-police itself in a way since users can repor other users' infractions, meaning things like bad language, personal attacks or insults, etc.
In plain english let the forum admins attend to more creative and self developing tasks :coffee:

On top of each post you should see this icon: http://www.eu-chronicle.com/forum/images/misc/GCS_009.jpg

So if you want to report an infraction you click on the button above and you will end up here:

This is not something that I expect we need for a long time yet. For now we're small enough to take care of any issues in different ways. But as we grow it's going to be more important that we all help out to manage the forums.

Reporting an infraction is also not something that should be taken lightly. Whenever an infraction is reported, forum Administration will try to investigate the matter, and then decide to take the appropriate action.
