Unable to upload avatar image

It has been reported by a forum sponsor that they struggled to upload their avatar image, as the system was denying them on file size basis.

I've been unable to recreate the issue using test user accounts, so if you have a problem attempting this operation please let me know.

I updated mine recently and it worked ok. The filesize and the picture dimensions both need to fit within the maximun allowed by the uploader screen.
Was the file a .jpg ? Perhaps it was the picture format that was causing the error?

Nothing so simple it seems. I tried with exactly the same image and it worked OK.

Phunksta did it manually , so i now have avatar pic
