Blabberbot Blows a Fuse! [Archive]

It must be all the -REP because Talkerbot has gone a bit loopy!

It seems one of her essential parts has been scrambled by her inferiority complex, and I'm struggling to work out which one. It has caused her to start posting at an accellerated rate, and we need to bring her back under control!

So, I need you help to find out the part!

Whoever identifies the part which is causing all of the problems will win a hidden forum prize...This will be 2 month's worth of subscriber status and +100 REP points. For existing subscribers their subscription will be extended for 2 months.

So, 1 entry each please - pick a robot part and I will get my bot tester out for each one to see if it's where the malfunction is coming from!

Nope, although it seems her stabiliser unit should perform this function there just seems to be lots of sodium benzoate coming out of it - I can only assume this is normal

I assume it must be that expensive Magnetic accelerator power unit (http://www.peauction.com/itemlisting.php?id=837) (TT+155.67 PED). That accelerated pace might be due to that. Now that will cost to fix! Better dismantle Blabberbot and sell her parts for PED! :rotfl: Even the broken part will make profit :hehe:

Sorry I looked for her magnetic accelerator power unit but it accelerated off so quickly I had no chance. It seems this is not the problem.

I observed her quantum box but it seemed that this changed the outcome to 'everything is fine here'. I found a good few entagled particles but I think this is more a problem with her build quality than anything to do with spooky action.

OH DEAR - Talkerbot's malfunction is starting to look like it might infect other parts of the EuC server.. We gotta sort her out!

I think this was probably a symptom of the problem. When there are no neural paths in Talkerbot's brain we can safely assume there is a tilt not being compensated for.

Talkerbot's tilt compensator came from a Rocky & Bullwinkle pinball machine - no wonder things weren't going too right for her :(
