Inspired by this (http://www.entropiaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76471) thread on EF, I thought we could have our own before-after thread here. Post a screenshot or two here showing your avatars' present looks. Then you can only update your post with new pictures after the VU. Would be fun to see how your avatars look like as well, haven't seen that many of you ingame.

All in all, kind of satisfied. The Goblin looks quite cool, a nice golden color. But let's not talk about my clothes... :D

Here two pics to give you an impression why i´m so p****** with the new VU, maybe you say wtf its only a pant , but it shows how MA deals with investments , such a jeans is a big investment , its a seldom piece of clothe ,at least for me as not supported avatar ;) Now in the new look its nearly worthless.

This pic shows the effect of repairs. The green shirt is fully repaired, the green pants are mostly decayed. Also the OJ's outfit is back to bright orange only after it is repaired.

After the VU I can finally say I look something like my avatar. Im satisfied with the result.

As one of the few with a strong enough graphic cards I love the overal views. But we look a lot younger and the whole thing is getting a bit too close to 2nd life. I've seen some gal's dressed up for.....

Marco (MA) was asked in EF if people could have another chance to create their avatars, given that the lighting in the avatar creation screen didn't seem to match the ingame lighting. Marco answered today with this:

"Yes, supply a Support case with that request. Everyone who remade their avatar before VU 9.0.2 will have a one-shot to re-create their avatar. Details will be posted on the Support News. But file the support case at soon as possible."

So, if you are unhappy with your avatar's appearance, hairstyle, height etc, please send MA a support case to let them know. That way you should be eligible for the re-create later on. :yahoo:

After some bad management of the VU release by MA, it is very nice to see this consideration being shown to the players, so at least on this issue Well done MA. :)

My graphics card was all fuh-kok-deschladen and my AVI appeared as all gray in color. A chance to re-do ol' chubbo would be greatly appreciated. I'll put in my support ticket by tomorrow.

If you appear grey ingame, then when it comes time for being able to re-create the avatar, it might be worth trying to login on a friend's computer with a more powerful graphics card, because I don't think MA will offer any further re-create attempts so you really want this one to display properly.

I'm not gray anymore, not since my graphics card upgrade, that's why I'm looking foward to re-doing my Avatar.

I recreated it with my old card and... well, you know.

After the recreation in VU 903 my avi looks better i think, only the jeans are the old crap ;)
The skin looks a bit darker on the screenprints than ingame.

I accepted MA's offer to recreate the avatar this weekend, so I am now a little closer in appearance to my old pre-VU9 avatar, with lighter skin and similar height.
