New EULA

The Entropia Universe End User License Agreement (EULA) will be updated on
Tuesday, the 16th of October.

We kindly ask you to pay particular attention to the date when accepting the
EULA, as this will indicate when the update has been completed.

Do they always give these warnings before updating the EULA? Someone wrote on EF that he didn't think they do...

Does it mean this update will be a big and maybe controversial one? As they feel they will have to give a warning so they have anything to refer to later on when everyone's mad?

Sorry, but I've gotten suspicious to everything MA does nowadays...

I'm sure I remember this happening before. The EULA changed a little bit, but I don't think it was anything big or too bad. Perhaps MA are required to alert us when they make small changes to the EULA, so it is more a routine message than anything to be alarmed over.

Yes They always tell us about EULA revisions. One thing is for sure it will all be in MA's favor and 98% "legal" doubletalk. Just remember when you hit I ACCEPT buttton you are supposedly agreeing to what ever it says, although I don't think a lot of it would stand up in a court of law if it ever came right down to it.

Just to be aware of what the changes may be, I re-read the current EULA lat night. I didn't see anything about first born children or anything, mostly just the standard "we're not responsilbe for anything we do wrong and you'll pay for all of our mistakes and changes" legal-eze that Microsoft made so popular. And here in the States, if our court systems are any indication, nobody's responsible for anything anyway and everybody pays in one way or the other. Just point your lawsuit at who's money you want and maybe you'll get a chunk of it. I should have been a lawyer...

I did a diff and aside from the date change this is the only addition:p. Gambling activities are expressly forbidden in the Entropia Universe.
