Umbra Camp Event Report

When I logged in to the forum today I saw that things had started to happen in the solving of the mysterious Notes. The people of EF had managed to decode that something was going to happen today at 19:00 MA time at the coordinates 15550, 9376. Apparently that was the position of the now abandoned Umbranoid camp...

Already by 17:00 people had started the pilgrimage to the camp to await whatever was going to happen. There was a kind of music festival feeling where lots of people filled with expectation had gathered on the open grass. People were strolling around, speculating, shooting at the young and mature Kerberoses that now had taken over the Umbras home. Someone also made some beautiful fireworks for the people to look at. (At the second pic I tried, but didn't manage to look as cool as the guy next to me LOL :D )

I soon saw Bunny hanging around out in the open field, so I ran over to her for some chatting. A few moments later Erach also showed up to check things out, and later I met Phoenix who also was curious about the event.

With one hour left people were getting restless, suddenly I noticed a long line of dancing players had been created :D

Action! When the clock was getting closer to 19:00 a big spawn of Kerberos Prowlers and Stalkers hit us and open war started outside the camp. Lots of brave Entropians died in the battle against these fierce and angry mobs, myself however ran for my life :D I stopped at the other side of the camp to watch the slaughter from a safe distance.

Soon all the Kerberoses were gone and people once again gathered in front of the camp. Notice how the radar is crammed with green dots! :D By this point the lag was of course getting really heavy. It was 50 steps forward, 49 backwards...

This time we didn't have to wait long though, a few minutes later the next wave of Prowlers and Stalkers came upon us and once again started to sweep the area.
I was unlucky to stand right in the middle of a spawn, and I soon got slashed into pieces by a Stalker.

I revived at the outpost at East Scylla to find out the lag was heavier than ever, and it was nearly impossible to return to the camp so I gave up and TPed away...


Please post your own screenshots and tell if something more happened! I know Erach, Phoenix, Bunny and Nutter where there as well. Did anything cool happen after I left??

Overall a bad event or better say, an event much like the others. But seeing the thread in EF Erach mentioned in the Shout Box, I see that the story happened somewhere far from us. But Adrijanna paid us a visit in Umbra Camp for a while. I couldn't understand what was happenning because of the lag and the "hi" spam triggered by some of our fellow EU Players (It was fun though LOL). It would seem however that this story extends far from EU and I may say that it is probably a mix of truth and fairy tales for MA. If it is totally true then... :shock:

PS. Read the thread in EF (http://www.entropiaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86344). It is quite interesting.

Thanks Phoenix. Also nice pics. The radar shows the amount of people present at the time and amazingly enough there was no real lag until the Stalkers and Prowlers arrived. Of course if we were not so busy showing off our pretty cloths then we would have had on our armor and a lot would not have died LOL
