I have found and activated more than 20 TPs in my first week.
I hit lvl 1 as a Sweat Gatherer in my first week.
I have completed 10% of my discipleship within my first week.
I have made some friends who are very experienced and help me along my journey, one of them being Red Sonia, who introduced me to this forum. My appreciation goes out to her, in my first week.
I began reselling from one item, and I have made about 20 PED Profit in my frist week. (I do not deposit, at least not yet, not til I know I can make whatever amount I put in, back out.)
I have learned how to rent, buy, hopefully use estate, land, or shops. (I do not do any of these yet, but I have learned about them and how to do it.)
I have found ways to make money, one I have enough 'upfront' money to start- Reselling, buying land and taxing it, hunting, selling pictures, mining for ore and/or gases, crafting clothes armor weapons furniture components and ad-ons.
I have joined a Society, one of the top 50 largest one, NBK Legion.
I have seen Red's Apartment and her items she has in it.
I have been to two Continents.

This was within my first week of joining the Entropian Universe.

Hello all,

30 Dec of last year was my first day on Entropia Universe. I've met a nice guy who helped me through my first hour and gave me a good headstart by explaining the skilling system on here. He also pointed me at Alice's guide which i have been using ever since.

So what have i been up to the last 5 days? Mainly skilling rifle and occasionally TP-running (around 7 of those) whenever shooting Daikibas got me bored out of my nose. Shooting Daikibas i do at Swamp Camp, i've almost maxed the Opalo (laser rifle) and the Isis CB5 (blp rifle) and i have maxed the Vivo T1 healing device, i am now using the Vivo T5.

Last night i tried my hand at crafting. Having looted a lot of wool and looking at one of the other forums made me decide to try and make some textures. I purchased the Large Striped Cotton Fabric blue print, some inferior cloth extractors in auction, turned the wool into cloth (+/- 100 pieces) using the tailoring material refiner and gave it a go at the tailoring machine. Result: 4000 fabric residue, 1500 texture, and 1500 metal(?) residue. All in all fun to do.

There is one thing i noticed at swamp camp. There seems to be a lot of noise in the answers you get from avatars that want to be knowledgeable and helpful but often turn out to not be that as much as they would like. For example recommending the use of Jester rifles as skill weapons. If i've learned one thing there, it is taking any information there with a grain of salt untill verified by a good player or on a forum like this one.

I have now recieved another Team Global worth 91 PEDs. (The screen shot messed up because it didnt have the chat screen to show the global)

I now have all of the TP's on the first Continent. 4 if which I got on my own.
I still have not deposited, but I have taken a MANN MPH and sold it, and used the money to buy and resale items. That MANN MPH has turned around and became worth about 20 PED so far. I hope I can continue on my lucky market streak and continue to make money off of the items. (Thanks Red for the Mann Gun.)

I have made contacts and I now do not sale my Sweat pubicly. I sale it for 10 PED per 1K when available (It only happens once a week so I havnt made very much yet doing it this way). If I need the PED right away, I sale it for 7 PED to another contact if available.

I have found the Neomap and the Seamaster threads which help in mining decisions and money making. I have not been able to use the mining ability as all my money is invested in the auctions right now.

I have over 1700 Skill points.

I am also lvl 1 in Laser Dmg.

I have mostly been concentrating on mining for Nexus during December. I had a lot of recent success. 2 recent (XII) claims (of Acid Root and Nexus).
For this month I decided to get the last 6-8 TP's in Amathera that I don't yet have. I got one so far. I will submit the screenshots of the chat log entry when I have gotten them all.
I purchased an opallo and an amp and have starting wasting Exa's, Snabble's, and Snarks. I really want to max that opallo and move up a few levels in rifle, and maybe pistol if I get to it later in the month.
I hope to get my first global, hof, and ATH this month lol.
I intend to try doing this while steadily increasing my ped balance, which is important to me- a non-depositor since I started this game 2 years ago.
My skilling in game has been very slow until my recent success mining due to lack of peds I mostly sweated and traded, with the occasional crafting spree mixed in.

8) today i helped Brandur to finde the last of his TP's Zues, NorthSpace Base, and Camp Caravan... knowing that my skill level's and gear did not match up to the task i chose a path around the beaches of the north to make ease of our travel, on our way to Zeus, Brandur found something that perplexed him a strange item apead evory time he got close, i explained to him he should emidiatly pick things that apear like that up for other players will usealy beat him too it, and after he picked it up i explained to him that it was fruit, and it's useage in the game...after ariveing at Zuse i gave Brandur the cords to space base and we had a race to see who would get there first.. =) I was able to make it to space base but not befor the Mob train got me... Brandur on the other hand learnd his leason from me and reached the base unharmed, and the race was his... we then headed south twords camp caravan.. a deadly and dangerious walk this was.. we lost our lifes many times but after a few mins of navigateing the Mob Maze, I was able to guide Brandur safe to Camp Caravan... I then met up with anouther new player i had recently met this being his second day in EU, i directed him to swamp camp just north of PA, and spent much time teaching him the rope's, and after a few hours have him well on his way too his first 1k sweats... as i have also binn sweating and skilling by his side as i try to advance threw this contest, yet still pass down what i have learnd =) ...

I have about 200 PED invested and hoping to make about 250 before Wednesday. (Yes, thats right, I said I still havnt deposited.) (I am letting my sweat money make me money)

I have helped several people get to 4 different TPs safely. I have shown them how to auto follow, know their coordinates, what the team loot is and how you can tell, as well as other misc things.

I have about 1800 in skills so far. Most of which comes from sweating.

Oh yea, and I am having a lot of fun in the game, whether it is with myself, my soc, or with other people around.

Today I was able to accomplish a few more things.
I am now a lvl 2 Pistoleer.
I am a lvl 1 Paramedic.
Lvl 1 as a Rifleman.
I have been working on killing Combibo's (however their name is spelt) and I have almost collected a full suit of armor off of them. Just need the shoes and the thighs. Yay.
I am only at 15% done in my discipleship. I would be further along, but between last week going fantastic in the auction house and this week doing poorly there... That has delayed me greatly.

Needless tosay, I will not be able to hit my goal of 250 PEDs. That is ok though. I know you cant get lucky all the time, and I expect that this is no different. I am hoping that I will be able to see this goal met shortly. (My value was about 150, but now I am down to 100)

Ok, I hope lootius is watching over you and will grant you a Global for Gratzing me, and a HoF for gratzing everything I post. :)

:coffee: good morning......i compeated in one of ythe sweating compitions, and i must say this was alot of fun... althoe, i didn't do so well and missunderstood the rule's and ended up disqualified... i still enjoyed my self and plan to do much better on the next compatition :p skilling went slow, have bin concintrateing on sweating and watching the auction house for deal's... and as alway's i have spent a good amount of time doing Q&A for some of my newer player friends, as well as stranger's ....

I have been hunting lately, with my Oppallo + 101 amp, and un-amped oppallo for a finisher. I reached level 2 yesterday in laser sniper, and laser pistoleer. I will be going back to mining for nexus shortly.
From hunting in this competition I realized how eco sweat + hunting small mobs really is. If you get 1-2 pulls of sweat from a small mob, that will make up any loss from the difference between loots and expenses, on a bad day. On the days where the loots are good, or you even global/ hoff :) then the fun begins. So even if I don't win the competition based on my skills gained (as unlikely as that is ) Thank You NOTB for getting me to start sweat hunting!

I just looted my first emik s30(L)! Looks like a nice gun, but I'm a laser user myself. I guess I'll have to find a buyer.

Well, I switched to a Rife because of all the running I did in a team with my pistol. They would get in 2-3 shots more if we started from the same place. Which means they ended up with more loot, and sometimes I didnt get nothing. So I now own my first Opalo with a Scope and Laser attached to it. (23.5 Skill Mod)

I just reached 3000 in total skill points.
I have reached lvl 1 in Rifleman (I think this is what this one is called.)
I have reached lvl 1 in Sniper.

I have figured out that the worst place for a noob to be is West of Troy. (You get hit for around... 188 hp.... And I did have Pixie Armor on at the time). :)

And when your stuck between the Bots, The Trox, and the Super Duper Quadiluper Trox Spider type things, you just have to pray for some help. These guys can see you when they are 3x out of your the first ring of your Radar. So when you see one moving, you run back to the outpost in hopes it gets them killed... If you die, well you end up there anyways. Its very hard to get out of there. But fun for a great laugh if you like dieing in one hit, and can take a joke.

Oh, yea, I went there because there was a Damsel in Distress. Once there, I died about 4 times before being able to get her out safely. 8D

I started dropping probes again. Just dropped around 25 or so, and got back 17.5 ped or so after markup of Angelic, Nexus and Growth Molecules. Hope to have a longer run later.
Also, I have almost 2.7k of ME for sale and a mess of animal loots from exas, snabbles, and snarksnots. If anyone needs any of that stuff, please let me know. (stuff like hides, wools, oils, basic stone extractors, basicmineral extractors, strong cloth extractors, etc.)

I have many more friends ranging from noob (Less then 15000 skill points) to expert (More then 100,000 skill points), they have helped me, and I have helped them in one form or another.

I do not sale sweat for less than 1.0. now. (That is 10 full PEDS per 1k of sweat) because of my friends on my list.

I have been paid 31 PEDs so far for dieing for people.

When I buy something, I am averaging 10% profit of whatever I spent.

I team globaled Sunday and I have a very unique item that will not work in the auction house. It is a Odenfield Ventricle System. Its TT value is 17 PEDs, we are researching right now to find out what the trade value is. (It cannot be put on Auction) Off of that same global, I got a pair of Gremlin gloves, which has a market price of tt+117. I have put them in the auction for tt+100. The rest of the global was pretty much oils from the animal.

There have been a lot of stories told about my life but none are true. At least I have never seen them to be true. I do not know where I have come from, nor do I know where I have been. All I know is what is, and that is I was pushed off the ship that was transporting me to the Milky Way Galaxy.

Since they were so kind as to not leave me with any supply’s, I had to figure out some way of making ends meet. I soon figured out that Sweat off of creatures helps to create Mind Essence and that other people will pay me to sweat for them. Needless to say, I started sweating as much as possible. My skills rose, Income started coming in, and I found myself barely able to support myself in this manner. So I began investing into a new life at the auction house.

Soon I met a friend named Red Sonia, she was a beautiful young women eager to teach, and I was a student eager to learn. After asking as many questions that I could think of, Sonia showed me her home to which I found a Mann MPH gun. It had my name on it and Sonia gave it to me as my first gun in the game. However, this gun was a prize to me as it has brought me in a little income in which I can buy a few things and sale a few things at the auction house.

After getting a Mentor and a little more guidance, I soon found myself joining the NBK Legion, which it and its associates are a part of the top 50 list on both numbers and skill. I soon found myself asking one question after another to try to figure out where I want to go and what I want to do with my new life.

I started hunting as soon as possible, first with a pistol, then a Rifle. I have hunted with the extra money that I have turned around in the auction house and I soon hope to graduate from my mentor. I am only a ¼ of the way there so far, and only 13 full days left to get the other 75%.

Thanks to this forum as well as another, the people from this forum, my Society, and all of the people around calypso, this homeless man here on Calypso has started to earn his own way in life. In the future, after I graduate from my Mentor, I am planning on taking up the crafts of attachments as well as Armorer.

Having a lot of fun in the arcade lately. Got a high score in Pacman. Really enjoying tower defense, but that high score seems impossible. Very impressive Shim.
Oh yeah, NOTM. I've been moving on with skilling in mining enmatter and hunting with my opallo +a101. I've managed to stay profitable with the mining providing the gains. I've made a couple of nice trades which helped me sell my ME, but I have a load of it to sell again. Also, if any one needs any cloth extractors, I have loads of many different types. Back to EU to sell and skill.
Still no globals, but steady skill gains.

:mad::mad::mad: Real Life has not alowed me to play this as much as i would like so i have not had a chance to sighn on as much as i would like... i should alreddy be at work as i type this :p but i just thought id drop a note letting you all know im still in this compatition and i wont let my time constrictions, stop me from being a competitive, oponent in this contest =) i have spent what time i can in skilling, and have, hunted and sweated a bit in the last few weeks, as well as mine'd... i do plan to give out some more TP runs for other players as soon as i have 4-6 hours of game play to be had... but as for now a sparadic hour or two evory now and then has helped my skills a bit... so it is evory one elses chance to beat me :D ok just kidding.... in any case this contest has bin alot of fun for me so far... and i recomend to all that you enter the sweating contest's.... good luck to you all and many HOF's to evory one =):53:

Today has been a fantastic day for me. First of all, I am at 46 hours and soon I will be crashing in my bed. But before I did, I wanted to tell you that I made it to CND tonight, This picture is my evidence.

When you make a great friend, sometimes what you do for them, is worth 10 fold and will come back to you. Simply put, all expenses paid including ammo, but not decay. I was told to use the ammo before he got back from from the bank. I used it as fast as I could, I gained 3 full lvls of Laser Sniper Rifle making me a lvl 5 from a lvl 2 in less then 3 hours. I gained over 300 skills in Rifle putting me over 800 and now I have just under 1200 to go to graduate.

I was promoted in my Soc to a Private. I now have over 5000 skills as of this morning, but should be well over 6000 now. No Globals or HoFs today, even though I killed over a 1000 things. :/

Well, that was the longest day and it was the best day I had so far.

It was kool and scary at the same time. :scare:I was going to take pics of the inside, but didnt want to spoil it for anyone who hasnt had this priviledge yet. So attached is a picture of the Spaceship and my crew getting on it.

I was the only one to die. :bonkyou:

But it was still a lot of fun while it laster. I was running in the back, and I let other people shoot the bot that killed me a full 2 times before I shot it once, and it chased after me and wouldnt stop until I died. :(

Yes, there was a lot of us because it was training for us who have never been on a Beacon trip. It was actually a lot of fun while it lasted. Because as a noob, I am much slower then Matt (Leader of Natural Born Killers) who has an insane amount of skills (Well compared to me anyways. :) )

He was running ahead and killing things before I could catch up with him (For the most part. ) So literlly to get to the boss lvl it took about 15 minutes once we were on the ship. lol

And for today's report:
My fourth Team Global. Woot! My job was to play Nurse!:Nurse:
Cause I was all out of ammo. Good thing this came along. :)

Got a bunch of secondary hunting skills up to level 1 today while hunting rifle. A society friend took me to hunt Kerberos E of Scylla. It was loads of fun. They look like a real bad mean beast, but hit like a slightly more aggressive Exarosaur.

Got my first Global Solo today!!!!

Unfortunatly, when I tried to pull it over to paint, it didnt want to paste. It was a Korss Gun worth 76 PED. I used the money to do repairs on armor, gun, amp, and place a couple of bids. Hopefully it will pay off. I am also more then 50% done with my discipleship now.

I'm afraid it would be impossible to list all of what has happened to me in my time in the virtual world of EU, but i'll try all the same. I technically made my account a few years ago, but never actually played it until a few weeks ago. Once I became interested in the game (recently), I spent a lot of time reading up on it through guides and entropiaforums.com (I was at school with internet access anixious to play but obviously couldn't), so I actually knew more than the average newb going in. I've not succeeded in my goal of making a consistant profit so far (besides sweating), but in the process I have tried mining (IMO boring), hunting, sweating, even a bit of trading (not so good at that). I've never gotten a global but you never know..... I've met several friends through my awesome soc TAO (you should join, btw). I never needed a mentor because my soc answered all of my questions. I doubt my skills are that great, but I'm getting there (Are we not scanned again at the end of the competition? Why is everyone listing them....?).
In terms of being helpful (isn't that what every noob of the month is suppose to do :D ?), today I helped Ella Henderson find a soc terminal and helped get Fate Destiny started in the game (with sweating). Also, I know I've helped at least two other people with sweating....

Anyway, I wish everyone the best of luck. I may try to add a bit again if I can before the end of the competition.

Well it looks like the server is down for me. So I figured this would be a great time to post.

I have over 8500 in skills now. lvl 7 Sniper is my highest.

I lost a good friend of mine in EU this week. He is quitting EU after 4 long years of being with it. (75K skills) Needless to say, I am very sad about this because he has helped me out more then anyone else. He has loaned me stuff that would be crazy to loan out. (a Pistol that was TT+2k for example) He even gave me ammo knowing I would pay him back soon enough. He has helped me out tremendously, and even though he loaned me over 250 PED worth of items, I paid him back for the things I used or that he gave me. Well he will be missed by me and many of my comrads.:cry:

I got a job, so as soon as I get my first paycheck, I will be doing a deposit. lol

Well just a few more days for me to meet my goal and graduate from my mentor. I have a few items in auction now that should get me very close to that goal if they sale like they should. And of course, I will be looting some more, so it should pay off that way also. Gonna be tough but I know I can do it. :D

I got 2 team globals since last post, but not counting one of them because the team did not split it. (And it wasnt me that got it)

Well I hit 9000 in total skills (This does not include my 93 health or other atttributes, nor does it include my rep or promoter rating.)

650 skills to go and only a few days to do it in. This is going to be tough.

The first pic that is attached here is my new goal, my understanding is this is a puzzle that has never been solved. There are 4 unknown peices to the puzzle that I put into this thorian temple for some unknown quest or item. I like puzzles and when I can solo all of these thorians, I plan on returning to try to figure out this puzzle.

Second is my picture to prove this is not a family oriented game. I will let you figure out why.:D

I am 67% complete with my mentor (prospecting is the skill I will probably graduate in)

](*,)I am working very hard to achieve my personal goal, I have a little over 400 Skill points in Rifle to go before I can graduate. It is getting harder and harder to skill in rifle on a regular basis, but that is all I can do in order to reach my goal before the end of the month. Unfortunatly, school decided to do a Makeup day tonight, and also a presentation for those with honors to be given tomorrow. So I dont think I will be reaching my goal this month because I am one of the ones with honors.

I had a bad morning.... No loot, no skills..... 15 in a row... I was using the Breer M3 and switched to a CB5, I have all of the bonuses available to me for the Breer, and one available to me for the CB5. :(

Needless to say, after getting beat up:Beaten:, I had to move on and find something else to hunt. Well this picture is just to prove that it can happen even with bonuses on gun. :(

Got lvl 10 Laser Sniper tonight.
Unlocked new skill - Marksmentship!

Attempted to help Canada tonight doing the WoF. We didnt get one single global in those 3 hours. Each of us used about 5k to 10 k ammo. I guess MA doesnt want Canada to win. lol

I helped Eve collect 18 more TPs also.
