Erm - I was about to fire at a Cornundacauda Nth of Argus when someone fired their rocket launcher. There was the usual explosion that you get with them - and then it just stopped dead in its tracks right infront of me.
This has not been edited in any way...

I have seen that quite a few times. Especially when there was a MA Event and lots of mobs were falling from the sky, you could see more than one of those grenades taking a break :D
I've seen the same couple of times too. Rocket looks funny when it is smoking but staying still.
In this case I fired the rocket myself, it never reached the target though.

Mobs falling from the sky? I've never seen that before - LOL. Nice pics btw Mora. Heck - and I thought my pic was a first! Looks like it happens alot.
The AV that fired the rocket launcher, rightly exclaimed 'what was going on' on the open chat, just before I took the print-scrn, and also posed the question - 'what if it had globalled.' I know it's one of the strangest things I've ever seen, the way it stopped like that just infront of me:rolleyes:

I remember about 12 months ago now I guess there were a couple of VUs that included flying Exos, invariably when this happen connection loss or a crash would follow shortly after but it was funny :).

In the land area north from New Oxford, there used to be a few spots where the exarosaur would all pile on top of each other in a valley. That seemed to trigger the flying mob bug, as they could not all fit into the same location.

It was so funny to watch. :D

These are the sort of cute bugs that made PE fun and gave it a unique character. I wish MA had left some of these fun bugs ingame, and concentrated more on fixing the serious bugs.

LOL !! The only time I've seen something similar to that, is when I once (infact I've done it alot :) ) deliberately rounded up alot of exos and snables and corns near argus - because they wern't giving me enough loot, and ran them towards a tower. Unfortunately, someone who was just on his way out hunting wasn't that pleased with this tactic, complaining that I shouldn't spoil his fun just because I was p...ed off:rolleyes:. Well; tough luck i thought:D.
Oh yer - now I know what you mean TrinityFox when you say it reminds you of Matrix. Rocket projectiles stopped dead in that as well ;). I would have been very lucky if I had been in a PvP zone...
