Have I missed something? How long has that gallery been there? And those are CE in-game screenshots?

Edited: I've seen the news posting (http://www.eu-chronicle.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5885) now :D

IŽll tell you one thing! If that is how the graphics will be we are going to see a very large number of people forced to leave because they do not have good enough computers!

Good or bad, I donŽt know but I do know that those pictures look amazing and I can hardly wait any longer for this huge expansion to come out!(yea I call it expansion lol)

Arigato Itto-sama! :)

I will definetely visit that gallery in PA. Those pics are very interested. Although they seem like they are from an adventure game and not a MMORPG. Anyway, I love those kind of stuff :D

If it's anything like Crysis the options will allow you to turn a lot of the detail off. Hopefully this will allow those with less powerful computers to still play but not get the full visual experience, but allow those with uber computers to get the full whack.

If the graphics really are as great as those screenshots it'll be amazing for EU. There'll be a lot of new people coming in too. Hurry up MA! I can't wait!

Erach.

My PC is already below the current spec. it's the graphics card that lets it down, the whole machine is a bit old and I am planning on replacing it but I am waiting to see the spec. first so I can get something that will run it. I'm not completely stupid, almost but not quite :).

Nice pics. It looks like MA are hinting at the idea of having correct shading/lighting, etc, for evening times and night times. That would be amazing. I hope my ATI Radeon 512mb Open GL card will cope with it.

I say GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB and above will work fine

I you have anything older I think you will have to settle for a lower graphical result

I picked up the following post on the EF today

The version of the engine Entropia Universe will likely be using will be the updated version of the Cytek engine ie the one used in crysis warhead not the original crysis, the content of the crysis games themselves have crud to do with its effect on eu as i saw a couple of replies mentioning something on those lines, anyhow the latest crytek engine has much more acceptable requirements and is way optimised, so even slower pc's can run it smoothly on lower settings and the average pc can run it on relatively high and cool looking graphics without any of the issues that plagued average users on the original crysis.

Not a clue if its correct but if it is, its good news :yahoo:

Crytek; Crysis - cry that, cry this. I wish MindArk would make their Mind up:D As long as this means I'll get some more use out of my machine when what ever it is going to be happens, I'll be very happy:)

I suspect the key word here is CRY, no doubt many tears will be shed once it goes live. I just hope they manage to change the way they call the engine so that it draws from the avatar to the horizon and not the other way around as it currently does.

Well I personally don't care if they Cry, Go mad, Get spastic, or Drop dead as long as they do it soon LOL :D
