Vendetta is declared:-
This vendetta will run for the entire of August 2008 MA times.
Sources have revealed that at least one member of the EU Chronicle community has turned traitor and has been contracted to assassinate as many of us as possible during the calendar month of August. Which member(s) is/are not currently known.
All members are advised to be vigilant! Who has been targeted is not know but we can all do our bit to defend our community. If you see someone trying to take someone out you may attempt to assassinate them yourselves and prevent the deaths of community members, please post any such kill to this thread.
Be careful out there.

Any kill made and posted during August will be valid with kills being accepted in the order in which they are posted.
All current rules will apply (http://www.eu-chronicle.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5719).
If there are enough participants this will be a "Ring of Assassins" vendetta. It is important that no other assassin knows you are participating so if you wish to take part please create a thread in the Kills sub-forum (http://www.eu-chronicle.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=114). Please title your thread "August 08". When the Vendetta begins I will post your target into your Kills thread, any kills you make should be posted to your Kills thread, I will then process them so that your identity remains a secret from other players.
The initial value of a kill in this vendetta is dependant on how many assassins take part, I will update this to include a PED value on the 1st of August. As in previous Canley events the value of each target increases as more kills are made by them. Only surviving assassins will be paid.
If you have any questions please PM them to me to keep your interest a secret. I will endeavour to answer your questions and update this post with the questions and answers to make this clearer for others.
As things are a bit slack on Calypso at the moment I hope this will bring a bit of spice back into your playing.
